Publishing your prompt makes it discoverable in the BetterPrompt marketplace, allowing others to use it and letting you earn tokens each time they do.

1. Pick a Good Title

Your title is the first thing users see when browsing the marketplace. Make it clear, concise, and relevant to what your prompt does.

2. Pick a Category

Categories add context and help users find your prompt more easily. Choose the one that best fits your prompt’s purpose.

3. Add a Useful Description

A well-written description helps others understand your prompt and how to use it.

• Explain how it works.
• Describe what each input placeholder means.
• Include any tips for getting the best results.

4. Generate Samples to Establish Trust

Samples let potential users see what your prompt can produce before running it.

• You can only publish samples generated with the current version of your prompt.
• If you make changes to the prompt, be sure to generate and publish new samples.

5. Earn by Sharing

Every time someone uses your prompt, you earn 10% of the AI cost in tokens.

• Share your published prompt with others to increase visibility and usage.
• The more it’s used, the more you earn.
